Highly recommend for your family Galapagos trip
We had a terrific time on our Galapagos trip which was arranged through Columbus Travel. Ana Lucia suggested Elite Catamaran, and we couldn't have been happier with her recommendation. It was a beautiful ship, with great service, food, and most importantly, guided experiences. Our family had a blast! Columbus Travel arranged domestic flights, priority services and help in the Quito airport, and provided us with a handy WhatsApp chat that we could use whenever we had any questions and/or problems. Ultimately, our trip was seamless from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

Columbus travel helped us select a location and lodge for a three-day trip to the Amazon in July 2026. They also provided a quote for a tour around Ecuador. Very professional service, excellent follow-up and we had a lovely time in the Amazon.

Great help planning our trip to the ecuadorian Amazon
Columbus Travel helped us choose and book a trip to a wonderful eco lodge in the ecuadorian Amazon, Sani Lodge. They also helped us with a quote for a mainland tour. They were very professional and friendly, and provided excellent assistance and follow-up. We had a wonderful time on the trip.

I’ve been to over 70 countries.  Used many a travel agent in many a country.  Manuela was one of the best I’ve ever worked with.  The itinerary was custom tailored to our quirky needs.  The in-country experience was so smooth.  I loved the communication every night about what and who to expect the next day. The constant check ins to make sure all was going to plan.  Manuela and Lesley kept us apprised and made sure our needs were met - including an emergency tank of oxygen one night for altitude sickness. A fabulous experience. Can’t wait to visit Ecuador again and see more of the country.

Columbus Travel with Mauela Alves arranged an amazing 15 day trip to Ecuador. I highly recommend their services. Everything was taken care of including being met at the airport by an English speaking private guide and driver, a very nice hotel, private tours around Quito, and a week long cruise around the Galapagos Islands. My guide, Myriam, was with me on every tour (except the cruise) as was the driver, Marco, who was very helpful with luggage and airports. They made all the arrangements to and from airports making it very easy for me. There was a walking tour around Quito, a cooking class, chocolate tasting, Mindo hummingbird reserve and butterfly farm, chocolate making class, a spa day at Papalacta, everything. They also arranged the cruise around the Galapagos aboard the Tip Top II yacht which was excellent. I have wonderful memories of the whole experience.

Fun in the Galapagos
Columbus Travel facilitated my trip to the Galapagos Islands. A group of my family and friends boarded the Bonita Yacht for a five day cruise. Fun cruising the Galopagos.
Just returned from a solo cruise to the Galopagos booked with Columbus Travel. They asked my preferences and offered several options with regard to the ship (yacht) and the itinerary. Ana Lucia was thorough pointing out things only a seasoned professional agent would know. My sincere thanks to her. Her teammate Alex was helpful when I had questions about the logistics of traveling to a foreign country with little to no Spanish language skills. Thank you Alex. I would highly recommend using this company and working with both of them. On my way home from the airport I thought to myself that I can cross this destination off of my bucket list. Columbus travel provided a wonderful 3 week trip to the Atacama desert in Chile, key sights of Bolivia and the Ecuadorean rainforest. The trip compassed amazing landscapes from the largest geyser field in the world, to the highest desert to the largest salt field. It also took us to see the sights of ancient civilizations and wonderful Amazon flora and fauna. Though it all we had outstanding guides and regular contacts with on the ground support to answer our every need.

I recently traveled to the Galapagos Islands with my sister. I can't say enough about the fantastic, magical experience we had. We booked the Bonita Cruise through Columbus Travel in April.  We had a bit of a tight schedule and they were able to find us a cruise schedule that met our needs. They recommended us to book flights through the cruise company and pay for all the park/airport fees. That was a life saver since we didn’t have to bring a bunch of cash and didn’t have to fuss with figuring out where to go to pay for things. The cruise company took care of everything and had someone at the Quito airport to escort us through. It was simple. We had a great experience with them and I would highly recommend using them for your Galápagos planning.
