On and off the boat with avid Naturalists who can share incredible knowledge about the Galapagos Islands. The ship has a crew 50, 8 Naturalist Guides, and a permanently stationed medical officer available 24/7. The Santa Cruz II accommodates up to 90 guests with a generous amount of public and social areas, a reading room and natural history library, a restaurant and elegant dining areas, bar and lounges, and sundecks perfect for whale watching or sunbathing in comfortable loungers or the ships Jacuzzi. Santa Cruz is an exciting vessel to tour the Galapagos as it also features a glass bottom, creating a compelling alternative to snorkeling!

All accommodations of cabins and suites are attractive and modern. There are 50 cabins, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning available, and they can also be converted from twins to doubles. Different types of rooms are available, such as singles, images, and triples. There are 3 “Darwin Suites” also available that are more luxurious than the rest.

AM:Baltra Island Arrival in Baltra airport and transfer to the boat. Briefing onboard about the boat and the island.

PM:Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach a swimming beach and one of the few remnants of the U.S. World War II presence in the Galápagos.

AM:Santiago Island: Buccaneer Cove Buccaneer Cove is a testament to the fact that Santiago was once a refuge for British buccaneers.

PM:Santiago Island: Puerto Egas Puerto Egas, with its black sand beaches, was the site of small salt mining industry in the 1960s.

AM:Rábida Island A bird-watcher´s delight. Species includes Flycatchers, Galapagos Hawks and Brown Pelicans.

PM:Bartholomew Island Bartholomew is home of the Pinnacle Rock, the most famous view in the Galapagos, and a beautiful white-sanded beach.

AM:Genovesa Island: Prince Phillip´s Steps An extraordinary, steep path leads through a seabird colony full of life, up to cliffs that are 25m high.

PM:Genovesa Island: Darwin Bay A coral beach where a 750 mt. trail takes you through more seabird colonies.

PM:Santa Cruz Island: Dragon Hill a hypersalinic lagoon frequented by flamingos, stilts, pintail ducks and other species of birds.

AM:Isabela Island: Vicente Roca Point The remnants of an ancient volcano form two turquoise coves with a bay protected from ocean swells. or Isabela Island: Elizabeth BayAs enter you the bay, hawks can soar overhear and schools of fish can be seen swimming underneath.

PM:Isabela Island: Urbina BayIts waters are a good place to see turtles and rays. Ashore you´ll find a short trail leading to a coral reef.
